Pakistani nationals traveling to Portugal for tourism are normally required to obtain a Schengen short-stay visa (Type C). A valid Portugal Schengen visa often allows travel inside the Schengen Area, depending on the visa’s validity, number of entries, and allowable duration.

7. Travel Medical Insurance

Travel insurance is necessary. The Portugal checklist requires insurance that covers the entire Schengen area, with a minimum medical coverage of €30,000, which includes relevant emergency medical treatment and repatriation coverage. The insurance should cover the entire desired period of trip.
